We recommend the hotel and staff. The bed was great, no problems with sleep.
Didn’t dislike anything about the property.
-
Amazing staff plus the breakfast was perfect. Lovely owner running the hotel. Room was a great value for money. It was so close to hobson's park bird reserve. Besides, waitrose & partners is 5 minutes' drive away.
-
The accommodation was easy to find and there is a parking lot in front of the house. We were warmly welcomed and led to our rooms. They were small but clean and tidy. The breakfast, however, was very simple and plain with drinks from the vending machine. Value for money.
-
It was very convenient
The bathroom was very simple, the breakfast was also kept very simple, the coffee came from a machine, unfortunately I didn't like it at all, there was no butter, just margarine

The guest house is easy to find. Parking spaces directly in front of the door. Very nice staff. Sufficiently large room and bathroom. Good basic continental breakfast. Quiet room facing the garden. Shower with sufficient water pressure. Supermarket and restaurants within walking distance (max. 15 min). Bus connection to the city.
Furniture and rooms have been in use for a long time, which you see (we didn't mind). However, the beds squeaked, which takes some getting used to :-).

The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, the heating in the room only worked when I was present. Somehow it only went on with the insertion of the key card as well as the light. So the room was always cold on arrival.
-
-simple, family run accommodation, functional and clean. -well suited for pure overnight stay and excursions to Cambridge
-
The staff were really friendly!!! And I love their full English breakfast.
If there was a thing that I don't really enjoy, it is gonna be the small bathroom.
-
Friendly and helpful staff. Within walking distance of Cambridge train station and short drive into the city centre.
No hairdryer in the room. Squeaky bed.
-
Very pleasant over night stay to visit Cambridge University. Only short drive to city centre. The hotel was immaculately clean and nicely decorated. Our ensuite shower stopped working. However, the proprietor was very helpful and came immediately to try to solve the problem. When he couldn't we were offered an alternative shower to use and also a reduction in our bill for the inconvenience. Would definitely stay again. Excellent value for money.
-
Close to Cambridge and Duxford which was the primary purpose of our stay. Also the friendliness and helpfulness of the management.
-
Clean, helpful friendly service, good breakfast.
Room downstairs by front door so alittle noisy with front door closing and heavy footed people going up and down the stairs.
-
The staff: ready to help at any time, for any thing we might need; always ready to prepare breakfast, call a taxi etc etc.
-
Friendly, helpful staff. Tasty brekfast.
A bit expensive, and quite the walk from town centre.
-
The welcome and service, the size and warmth of the room, and the breakfast, which was excellent.
The size of the en-suite shower/WC, which was very small, and the thin curtains which allowed the street lighting to intrude all through the night..
